mothers support group

Mothers wear multiple hats in terms of the many roles that they have to fill, and at the same time all this can sometimes feel like a lonely overwhelming journey. The role of motherhood is one that can sometimes feel challenging with most of the feedback from the external environment feeling judgemental and punitive. Mom’s who ain’t got time is a support group structured for the 21st century mom who wears multiple hats, and of course the most important hat of all which is being a mother. The support groups aim to offer mothers who have children of all the developmental ages, tools in being a more present mother to child through talks and tutorials as well as offering support through the opportunity of engaging with other women who are also 21st century mothers.

Psychometric Assessment

Psychometric Assessment

As a Clinical Psychologist of Regulated Heads I have been certified to conduct the Griffiths III psychometric assessment. This is an assessment measure that has been standardised for children between the ages of 0months to 6years of age. It is a neurodevelopmental measure meaning we use it to assess a child’s development. This assessment measure can be used on children developing typically or atypically. Furthermore we also use the assessment on children who other health practitioners suspect the presence of Cerebral Palsy or any other neurodevelopmental disorder. Regulated Heads is among the few practices that have the newly updated Griffiths III full kit.
